| It's not parochial, it's a description of reality. You want to claim all the good parts of science, but not eugenics, racial theory, the Holocaust, industrialized murder, genocide, etc. And you are extremely naive if you think it's "subject to ruthless reevauluation. Maybe you should look at how corporations and universities actually function in reality, rather than in your fantasy universe where everyone is just doing everything without any material concerns or trying to get ahead. It is clear you are a fundamentalist of your religion, however, so it is useless to talk to you, just like it'd be useless to talk to a Christian, Jewish, Hindu, or Muslim extremist. |
