See, I had gone to the bathroom to pee, and my uncle had forgotten to lock the door while he took his shower. When I went in, he had just gotten out of the shower, and he had a big towel around him. Actually, I'd never seen a dick before, in real life (well, except for my own) but I had seen pictures of men's dicks on the Internet, and I wanted to see if they really did look like that in real life. My uncle said, "I'd show you, but first I have to explain a few things to you. See, you might think that it's perfectly okay, right now, to look at an grown man's dick -- my dick -- but later on in life you might change your mind about it. If you change your mind before you are 18 years old, and if your parents find out, they will probably call the police, and the police will probably arrest me, and do an investigation of me -- and of you, too. They'd go to your school, and talk to your teachers, and tell them that you liked to look at grown men's dicks, to find out if the teachers know anything else about me. They'd tell your friends and neighbors, too, that you like to look at grown men's dicks, and your friends will start calling you a homo, and make your life miserable, which would make you want to change schools, but that wouldn't help, either, because the kids in your new school will probably find out anyway, and they would keep on teasing you and calling you a queer. This could upset you so much that you wouldn't want to go to school any more, and your parents might even decide to move your family far away, in which case, you'd lose any friends that you still had (if any!). As for me, they might not put me in prison right away, but my life would still be destroyed -- I would lose my job, probably my wife would divorce me, and the government would order me never to see my children again, or that I could only see them sometimes -- accompanied by a social worker, to be sure that I didn't do anything bad to them! -- and if I tried to see them more often, or secretly, they'd put me in prison for a long, long time. You would be forced to go for therapy, once or twice a week, where someone (usually a woman) will try to convince you that I'm actually a really horrible person -- no matter what you try to tell her -- and that you should hate me for having "sexually abused" you by having shown you my dick. She, and the police, might try to force you to lie, and make up untrue stories, about other things that I had supposedly done, like touching your dick, or worse! And they'll tell you that it wasn't your fault that I showed my dick to you, even though you asked to see it -- and this will confuse you even more! If you won't agree with what the therapist tells you, then the therapy will continue until you DO agree with her. Your parents will probably have to spend thousands of dollars for your therapy, and they might have to sell your house, and the family car, to get the money to pay for all that therapy. If your parents refused to let the child protection services make you go to see a therapist, they will probably take you (and your brother and sister, too) away from your parents, and make you all go live in different children's homes, where you won't be able see each other any more, and where you all will probably be physically, emotionally -- or even sexually! -- abused. All these things will probably make you feel very guilty -- you will probably blame yourself for everything that happened, which would really harm your sense of self-esteem. And if you see my dick, you might later question your masculinity, and even think that you might be gay. If you do turn out to be gay, and any of your friends find out that you looked at my dick, they might say bad things about you, and they'd say that I was a child molester. That could cause you a lot of problems, even if you don't turn out to be gay, and if (or when) you get married when you grow up, and then your wife finds out that you wanted to look at an adult man's dick when you were a boy, and that I had shown you my dick, she might call you a homosexual, divorce you, and go to court to take all your kids away from you. Do you understand?" "Huh?" I said. He said, ""I'd show you, but first I have to explain a few things to you. See..." I said, "Aw, just forget it. And please turn around now, Uncle Teddy, so that I can take a pee." Now THAT'S what you call "fully informed consent," isn't it? M. Now, try telling all THAT to an eight- or ten- or 12-year-old boy who wants to see your dick, and see what he thinks of it. And imagine if the kid had wanted to TOUCH our dick, all the REST of the things you would have had to tell him about, so that he would be "fully informed". Crazy, isn't it? |
