How special for him, but also for you! He obviously trusts you. You don't seem like the person to abuse that trust, though I can sympathize with your confusion.
I would wait and see if it will repeat itself; leave the initiative to him. If so, you can thank him and tell he is beautiful too. The boy seems to be taking an important step in his development. Hopefully, he has wise parents and you can share this development with them as well.
