I don't think anything will come out of this. I think you should be feeling nice about it. Just act naturally. Plus, it is good for him if he opens up more to people. The fact that he feels safer around you does not mean that things will take a sexual or inappropriate turn. Just let him come to you when he feels like it. Beside that, just continue acting the way you have been acting.
