Should moms just mind their business?

Posted by Tyred on 2024-June-9 07:21:53, Sunday

How involved to you think parents should be in their son's sexual relationships? Do they have a right to vet their son's romantic partners or should they mind their business?

Link is to a boy who is at first willing to talk to his mom about his relationship, but when mom starts to question him he rejects her attempts to define his relationship and tells her to mind her business. Do think he has a right to set this boundary with his mom or does she have the right/responsibility to supervise his sex life for his own good?

Would it change your answer if the boy was in a romantic relationship with a 27 year old man?
