Let us suppose that you are born with the predisposition to be predominantly heterosexual in the bisexual range. There are four paths a person could take, 1.Exclusively heterosexual 2.Bisexual (predominantly heterosexual or (predominantly homosexual) 3. Homosexual The question is what is the likelihood of which path a person will follow and that is where environment comes into play. For simplification let's say the following though there are likely other paths to the same destination. 1. Person never has a same-sex experience or has a negative same-sex experience and moves down the path of exclusive heterosexuality. (because of environmental/social pressure, this is going to be the largest cohort) 2. Person has both positive same-sex experience and opposite sex experiences and makes choices based on his learned social experience which sex he prefers. (in all likelihood he will play the social role of a heterosexual and have sex with guys on the down-low as is his nature) 3. Now a person predominantly heterosexual in the bisexual range will never truly have no attraction to the opposite sex but some might choice to follow this path for a number of different environmental reasons but are also just as likely to change paths along the way. People are by in large creatures of their nature. The divination/ maladaptation is when they don't follow the path that is right for them. Fortunately, most paths are electives and not prerequisites :) International Boylove Day BoyWiki |
