We can continue this discussion indefinitely. You seem to have a beta approach to everything, while for me there is an equally important alpha approach.
Let me try to explain my view on changing reality.

Your view on safe jumping off of buildings could also change.
Yes that could, but it would be rather stupid. Such a change of view would contradict the law of gravity.

The fact that our view on sex has changed is irrelevant.
In contrary, you are tarring incomparable quantities with the same brush. There is no law of .... here! A change in insight about what sex is could completely change the way we look at sex and would alter the effect of having sex with each other. You are mixing incomparable quantities with each other.

No, a new reality did not emerge. That's not possible. Reality is reality. what you mean is, new beliefs emerged. The question is, do these beliefs align with reality?
Once again a misunderstanding between us about what reality is. Reality can be different at any moment. If you think that is nonsense, further discussion will not be very useful, I fear.

There were demonstrable reasons why we came to think that there is nothing wrong with sex between men.
What were they?
The idea that the main (and for many people the sole) purpose of sex was to create offspring.
This is no longer true due to technological developments and growing overpopulation which can lead to changing insights about the value and purpose of sex. This can be the forebode for a new harbinger.
And that is what I advocate.
