Your view on jumping off of buildings could also change. The question is, is our view on sex correct or not? Does it align with reality? In the 1960s a new reality emerged in the western culture No, a new reality did not emerge. Thats not possible. Reality is reality. what you mean is, new beliefs emerged. The question is, do these beliefs align with reality? There were demonstrable reasons why we came to think that there is nothing wrong with sex between men. What were they? You are basically just re-stating your point again without addressing what I am saying. What I am saying is, you can define things however you want. But, if your definition does not align with reality, reality will bite you back. Reality always wins versus beliefs. |
