I used to write BL poetry too

Lost my BL poetry years ago several PCs back. Drat. Jeffrey Gold was kind enough to recite some of it on the now-defunct BL streaming channel Shower Quality Radio. I wonder if that guy's gotten out of prison yet...

Of course, my poetry was all about YFs and such. It would never have occurred to me to write a poem about all of society hating "me." I could count on one hand the number of people who have hated me for being a BL (super awkward!). I can assure you that the rest of society doesn't hate me for being a BL, at least as far as they know. No matter how much hatred you see in the world directed at hypothetical or outed BLs, the vast majority of it, if any, is not personally directed at you. I'm not an oldster (yet), but I'm guessing I'm not as young as you may be and the curious case about the younger generations is the degree to which they've internalized all the negativity they perceive. At a certain point that becomes a choice.
