But pedohysteria led to the closure of the site. I don't see how it's "pedohysteria" when a lot of pedos went on places like that with elaborate foils meant to deceive boys into thinking they're talking to girls their own age. This was then used to obtain nude photos and videos which were then disseminated online. Some even blackmailed their victims to do even more. So to me pedohysteria is an irrational fear of people preying on children. It's no longer irrational when you have a large number of pedos engaged in this activity on a daily basis. Unfortunately there were far too many predators on Omegle to dismiss them as a few bad apples. Not saying every BL who went on Omegle did anything wrong, but it was really bad. No boy should ever be tricked like that or be treated as an object of deception. |
