I can't say I am in any way an expert on Scientology but as an outsider looking at them,

They:

1. don't seem to be book burners.

2. don't seem particularly anti-sexual and gender minorities.

3. don't come to my door.

4. haven't ever burned anyone at the stake, stoned anyone, beheaded anyone, or crucified anyone.

5. haven't started any wars or crusades.

I can't say I support them but I haven't found a reason to dislike them yet.
