The latest linguistic contortions of the anti-pr0n activists are published in today's Guardian under the headline: "Self-generated sexual abuse of children aged seven to 10 rises two-thirds." The article, which seems to be based substantially on a press-release from the CP-fanatics at the Internet Watch Foundation, opens: Incidents of children aged between seven and 10 being manipulated into recording abuse of themselves have surged by two-thirds over the past six months, according to a global report.There is, of course, absolutely no way of knowing how much truth there is in any of the claims made in the article, but it is fascinating to observe the knots the IWF has to tie itself into to reconcile the realities of kids broadcasting their wee-wees on webcams with the melodramatic language of child sexual abuse images.
