As soon as you ask a question like 'what causes boylove?' you're assuming that it is an aberration - a minority or deviant characteristic that demands to be explained. I do not myself think that there are any very interesting or informative explanations for individual sexual preferences. Let the Freudians and the evo-psychs dabble in that muddy pond if they so wish. For me, the beauty and desirability of boys is not something that needs any further explanation. People who claim to be attracted to hairy old grown-ups, however, strike me as genuinely strange. |
