The men had a sexual preference for adolescent boys. A boylover once told me that these boys were the prostitutes of those men. Don´t know for sure if this is true. „Men who love adolescents are not pedophiles.“ Yes. But in Germany „pedophilia“ so far is officially defined as a sexual preference for „children“ before or at the beginning of puberty ("a sexual preference for children, boys or girls or both, usually of prepubertal or early pubertal age"). And most scientists do not know when puberty really starts. This has the effect that to desire a 12-year—old girl is often seens as „pedophilia“ although 12-year-old girls typically are rather at the end of puberty. In the next „ICD“-version „pedophilia“ is only a sexual preference for prepubescents but this version is not already used in Europe. „The tiny bit of information the DW article does provide about the placement of the boys with the men (i.e. that they were children placed with pedophiles) is false.“ Even in some peer-reviewd „scientific“ articles 21-year-old persons are labelled „children“. I guess those journalists would not feel forced to correct the word „children“. But indeed the word „pedophile“ is clearly wrong here since those boys were 13 years or so at the beginning. The problem is that to send occasionally emails to pedophobic journalists will not cause a revolution in our sense. It needs a bigger plan (which might involve such actions).
