I wasn't a gender conforming boy either. When i was little, i played with the girls, but not so much with girls toys. The environment was pretty much unisex, not so much focused on Princesses vs. Pirates. However, i didn't had a father and my mother was against guns, pistols, and any other violence/force themed toys. Moreover, i wasn't so much allowed during my childhood, so no experience with doing repairs, farm work or similar boy activities. I was a mere geek, interested in boys (who in hindsight seemed to live a better life than me - i would rather have switched into their bodies), but sometimes had an unfortunate crush on some girls (never went to anything). To be honest, i had no guidance other than being an obedient son. I never thought that i would be better off as a girl. However, my penis was circumcised when i was about 5 yo, and there are ugly scars. So i was penis-envious. I am too horrified by the pretty aggressive activists who are "instructing the ignorant masses". The top of it is her statement that using the wrong pronoun is an act of violence - which is pretty far fetched. There is this assumption that i am deliberately nasty if i just use the normal pronouns. I see it as a syndrome of "special snowflake". [@nonymouse] [Guardster] [Proxify] [Anonymisierungsdienst] |
