From a boylover's point of view, the French and British election campaigns so far have been as dry and barren as Theresa May's womb. None of the main party leaders have any boys worth getting excited about. Or so I thought, until I came upon this 2015 picture of Liberal Democrat leader Tim Farron with his sons Jude (now 13) and Laurie (11), as well as daughter Grace (who cares). It is a sublime and holy mystery to me that a man who looks like a moldy lump of carrot cake you fished out from behind the radiator and a woman who wears denim shorts with leggings and fur-trimmed boots could somehow produce boys who look like that.
