Strangely enough, I caught this two-part doco (below) on TV within a day or so of our conversation on that very subject, and it pretty much reiterated what I wrote but with more detail and a new slant on things too. Historical doco, no bias that I could see, worth a look-see. Pay no heed to the 'User Review'.
