Recent trends include lots of tourists around the world from China....

And not so long ago, in a museum somewhere in Europe, I saw tour groups full of Asian children, I suspect Chinese - and as one of these tour groups swarmed into a room with some of these statues of naked boys, I noticed several small girls, couldn't have been over 10, rushing forward with their smartphones to take pictures - close-ups - of these statues.

I thought it was quite funny.

You may know that Chinese culture is still somewhat prudish. Not like the Middle East, but more so than Western Europe. Only 30 years ago these Chinese girls would have had plenty of opportunities to see young members of the opposite sex in split pants, but times have changed and these girls presumably came from a wealthy strata that changed over to diapers a generation ago. I suspect those girls didn't have too many opportunities to admire boyish bodies - but given a chance, they grabbed it!
