If you live in the United States than definitely learn (latin american) Spanish. It's the second most spoken language. Even if you don't plan to move anywhere, it can still be useful to know.

The problem with learning Russian here is that there is almost no one around who speaks it. I wouldn't waste my time learning it unless I had a definite plan to go to Russia. And yes, it looks way more difficult than spanish! In writing especially!
