I heartily agree with this statement. There has to be role-models, training, socialization, etc. Like us, Sandusky had no role models to emulate in order to learn how to most properly respect a boy and to gain his trust and true friendship. There was also no socially acceptable way for him to channel his affections, nor did he have safe mental health care available to him as an option when he first began to discover his attractions (a failing B4U-ACT is working on). ----Standard & Poor |
