I'll try to make this short, but it is not easy. - When I first got here, I contradicted jonasBark on a question regarding copyrights. (I had suggested that posters might want copies of older BC posts on their own computers, so they could read them). I was correct, he was in error about the copyright questions (it is long and complicated to explain). jonasBark then began a vendetta against me. He made many false accusations. He also insisted that I was trying to become a cog (I wasn't, and am not.) - I thought that the old posts (now scrolled off of page 16 of the index) were a goldmine of information - old posts giving excellent answers to commonly recurring topics. I suggested that an index of the old posts would be very useful for us (the antis and the LEO have had copies of all those posts since they were first posted - only *we* - the boylover posters here - were unable to access them). The question of creation of an index was debated for a long time. Finally a consensus was reached. It would be a good thing to have the index available for us. I then made an index, and posted it. Here is the index . - I answered a question from TPKA "Nickless" regarding the last name of a boy-model named "Florian". I googled the name, and the first page of the Google results gave more information - including Florian's (supposed) "last name". I posted it. --- But Amicus and Newport News had "crushes" on Florian, and felt they needed to "protect" Florian. So, the board went mad. Amicus was banned for threatening to nicklink everybody. Newport News went berserk, and joined jonasBark's campaign of harassment against me. Nickless became very upset. He said some unwise things, and was given an ultimatum - "be a perfectly good boy, or be banned". He refused the demands. He was banned. (And I am (somehow) blamed for that.) - Newport News finally freaked out, and he did something very very dumb (which outed himself to a "someone"), and stopped posting under that nick. He almost certainly continued to harass me, but under different nicks. - I angered MElf by being too "familiar" with him - I'd make "soto voce" comments to him in my posts. He also worried that I might have figured out his real identity (I hadn't, and wasn't interested, either). MElf also disliked my posting style - several times he criticized my "ending a question" with the word "no?". Seems he hates that. Also, I posted that boys like sex, that sex with boys (even casual sex) is not harmful (as long as everything is open and "aboveboard"). This angered MElf. He seems to believe that anyone physically touching a boy is a great danger to the boy. So MElf began to harass me, under a variety of different nicks. I angered MElf also by questioning whether or not TPKA Cabinet Maker was actually an anti (you've seen his posts - others have thought the same thing about him). --- Because MElf "didn't like" me, he was often very careless (and very nitpicky) when reviewing my posts. Several times he "warned me" about (alleged) "nicklinking" (the accusations were false - if I had really nicklinked anyone, I would have immediately been banned). But the harassers used these (false) accusations to continue to harass me, and to turn other posters against me. It worked. Other posters then began to believe that I was somehow a "danger to the board". The other posters would then harass me sometimes, too, just to be "part of the crowd". - I (foolishly, as a "newbie") began to correspond with several other posters by e-mail. --- One of them I didn't answer quickly enough - TPKA Seb. (Who has since dropped that nick for several newer registered nicks - which he has used to harass me under. [Seb has some rather "strange" beliefs - he believes you can lie in your bed and "project" your spirit beyond your body, to any other part of the world..." It's called "astral projection".] Seb also seems to know some "backdoors" to posting using anonymous nicks, and has harassed me using "anonymous nicks" as well.) Anyway, Seb became upset (he has "anger issues" - you can see it in many of his posts). So he joined the harassers. --- Another poster I started to e-mail with was Prometheus - who wrote *huge* messages to me, covering many things and in very great detail (you can imagine!). Answering them became a problem, because he'd send new ones before I had a chance to finish answering his older ones! (I was busy with other things.) I finally politely told Prometheus that I'd rather not engage in these long e-mail "discussions". He did not take this well, and became somewhat angry. (He later offered to "mediate" the dispute between jonasBark and I. He said that all I had to do was to "admit that I had been all wrong", and that jonasBark had been correct about the copyright question. I refused, of course. This angered Prometheus even more. He then joined with the other harassers, and he created several registered nicks to harass me with). --- Another "e-mail mistake" was with "Slim". He's an RSO who had recently been released from prison. He said some things in his e-mails that I *really* felt uncomfortable with (things that made me very suspicious of his reasons for wanting to e-mail me...). I politely declined any further e-mails with him. He then became very angry and joined the other harassers. He has since used a variety of other nicks to harass me with. - Comes April 1st ("all fools day") of 2011, I spoofed being very angry about being constantly harassed, and posted a "very angry" post say that I had decided to quit BC. Many fell for the spoof. After 9 hours or so, I admitted that I had been joking. Many who had fallen for the spoof then became angry and joined with the harassers. - I took an interest in updating the FAQ, and prepared (and posted) a draft. The harassers used this to continue their attacks on me - that I was somehow "trying to take over the board". And it goes on and on. MElf likes the "drama" - you insinuated as such in a recent post of yours - (though MElf calls ME a "drama queen!"). So MElf will take no steps to stop the harassment. Many posters (those who like my posts) will not respond to my posts anymore, because then the harassers will attack them as well. - The campaign of harassment continued, using one excuse after another (none of them valid) until finally they hit on the idea of "limiting my posting" because I was "posting too much" - yes, I was posting 10 or 15 posts a day. No-one complained (then) about the quality of the posts. Only the quantity. The harassers (led by MElf this time) decided they would limit my posting "to help martiwithacause with his Internet addiction". My posting was then limited (though I was never officially informed of that by MElf - this was just another little "mind game" that MElf was playing). - I was banned on (false) charges of "threatening to repost deleted posts" (the posts that Newport News had made, when he had his problem with his "someone" - but he then had requested to be deleted. This was when he realized that his posts showed everyone else how insane he really is). I was - I admit - trying to upset Newport News, and maybe get him to stop harassing me, by talking about those two deleted posts. Instead, MElf used that as an excuse to ban me, and so I was banned. My posts have many times been moved to MBC (when I mention harassment, my posts are often moved to MBC - even though they are NOT about "the running of the board", but instead about alerting other posters to the fact that many of the harassers are lying about me in their posts on the main board. Apparently, MElf doesn't want the other posters to know the truth about that.) MElf enjoys other posters harassing me, because of the reasons above (MElf doesn't like me posting my ideas/experiences with boys, etc.). So MElf allows the harassment to continue. (You know MElf...) MElf recently moved to MBC a couple of my posts, without even putting the usual "Moved to MBC" notice on the main board! He seems to want to try to upset me, and to not let other posters know what is really going on here. Most recently, now that my posts are limited (and I still haven't been forced off of the board), the harassment has been about the "quality" of my posts. You see it now with "martirwithaneditor" (and other "anonymous" nicks, mostly). "martirwithaneditor" is almost certainly one of the posters mentioned above (I think I know who, but I can't say, of course, because that would be nicklinking). Many posters over the past few months - long-term posters as well as newer posters - have said they are disgusted by the harassment campaign that they see being allowed against me (and, more recently, by MElf allowing Santi and others to post racial and ethnic slurs). Many of those posters have now left the board (there are other boylove boards, where the monitors don't allow that kind of shit). Some will probably never come back. Why don't some posters like me? I think the above explains it. Of course, there are many many other posters who DO like my posts. But they remain (for the most part) silent. Some because when they *have* spoken out in my defense, the harassers have then attacked them, and quite viciously. Fred_24 is the most recent victim of those attacks. Others remain silent because they are "enjoying the show". Can you believe it?
