discuss things here. To do so requires a "back and forth" dialog. I can't have dialogs. I have to try to include everything I can in one post. Which, as I'm sure you know, can never be done. The board belongs to US - not to MElf. He is the gardener, but the garden belongs to the world of boylovers. MElf did not plant the garden - he only said he would take care of it, for boylovers around the world. There are rules - the rules go back to before MElf became a cog. There are good reasons for the rules. MElf now does not enforce the rules (for his own personal reasons) even when the violations of the rules endanger the very existence of the board! This is not right. Sure, he works hard (maybe). He is under pressure. But if he cannot do the job correctly, then he should find a replacement (I know that is not easy). BC is - and has been for a long time - slowly dying. MElf is part (not all, just part) of the reason it is dying. He could do more to keep it alive, but he doesn't seem to care. He has allowed countless rule violations - because he enjoys controversy. He allows nicklinking (when it suits him). He allows campaigns of harassment - again, when it suits him. He allows clear copyright violations - when it suits him. In other words, he allow most of the rules to be broken, because his personality is tied in too closely with the board and he cannot do his job objectively. That might even lead to the sudden closure of BC by the legal authorities. But MElf doesn't care. The board does *not* belong to MElf. It belongs to US. But MElf may be destroying it with his incompetence and personality problems. You think that is OK? (Please post a quick response here so I'll know, then respond to this on MBC or the Treehouse. I am not allowed to dialog here. That was MElf's decision. See, MElf believes in "freedom of speech". That's why he has allowed racist and ethnic slurs to be posted on the board. But me? I can't post. See, I'm a "danger to the board". Go figure...) |
