Mr Van den Berg says he kept the 150,000 photographs and 7,500 films found on his computer for research purposes, “not for my own sexual pleasure”.

Lawyer Yme Drost brought the case after parents of a three-year-old child who was sexually abused in 2009, said the child’s abuser got tips on how to abuse children from the Martijn website. He wants the court to reverse the decision not to prosecute the association itself and ban it.
