I've never seen a transvestite who dressed up like a dumpy old housewife, in a mu-mu, with no make-up on, and her hair in curlers.

I mean, if they think they are just "females in a male's body", then why don't they tend to look like run-on-the-mill females, instead of starlets and beauty queens?
