Being a pedophile, or a boylover, or any sexuality for that matter is not a mental disorder as many people try to say. It is no different than someone liking chocolate and someone liking vanilla. There is not much philosophizing about it, as many religious leaders and mental health "professionals" try to do. Pretty strong argument there. I will have to consider it, basically if society does not like something, you have a mental disorder. However what happens if your brain prevents you from functioning well, because of mental dysfunction. In other words you cannot produce an offspring of your own(which is one of your key objectives in life), because you are exclusively attracted to things that cannot reproduce anything... Would that mean you have a mental disorder? As physically you could mate, all this is in the mind as I can tell. Liking chocolate and vanilla, does not compare to this in my opinion. |
