as just a trusted confidant, I would have no problems with the disclosure. To drop this stuff on a boylovers' board is - whether true or not, whether sincere or not - kinky in itself. Sort of exhibitionist. The strange thing is, having read a bit about Siggi Freud, that he documented cases stranger than this one, and analyzed them much as you have. At first read, it sounds like one of those cases. Dealing privately with such a person given appropriate confidentiality, we could explore further. I admit that anyone can write anything here that for most people is untraceable, and this amounts to "confidentiality" as well - but no meaningful help could be offered. What we say in reply is just a stab in the dark. We must talk on the religion thing some time! Just a couple of things - there is some evidence that the old Hebrews had pretty healthy attitudes to sex - given that in all societies some sort of attempt to control sexual activities always evolves. Perhaps too, the "Victorian??" prudishness and shame may be a more recent development in Christian religion, that it was not present in the early church. Some interesting books: Child of the Sun (Onstott? Horner?) with some interesting remarks at the end; also, tongue in cheek perhaps, Live from Golgotha by Vidal. Cheers |
