I do know of others who were in panic and suicidal mode after their computers were seized. This was years ago. Nothing ever happened. They didn't get their computers back.

Sounds like you never did anything that you need to be remotely ashamed about, or possibly, concerned about. By all means, contact a lawyer. Ask about whether the seizure was legal. Do not speak to the police about anything yourself. And live your life.
