Thank you for writing this. On whether a 26 yo guy having romantic relations with a 13 yo girl should be illegal based on the potential for abuse, I say yes. Therefore to reconcile this with my position that 13 yo boys should be able to choose an af after applying due diligence, gl's must be given the same mentorship rights pertaining to girls. Thus I propose a lower aoc for same-sex mentoring relationships, perhaps 12, with due diligence such as licensing in place, while hetero relationships remain at the 16-18 range that is most common across jurisdictions. jus |
