He's far too tall, he has a prominent Adam's apple, and there's still a wisp of mustache clinging to his upper lip. Great special effects! But they got a few things wrong. Like, when someone's head is removed, their brain continues to function for about 30 seconds to a minute. Their eyes look around them, their mouth may move wordlessly. Let me guess what they try to say: What the fuck! That's my body lying over there!Oh, and viewers should be warned to watch all the credits, too (the longest I've ever seen! Well over 10 minutes!) so they don't miss a few scenes from the film. I discovered that about correctly buttering grilled cheese sandwiches on my own... This should be posted on the main board, as it's of interest to die-hard Tremblay fans, don't you think? Oh, yeah--in a previous post I wrote "gaigin" instead of "gaijin". When I typed that word, I paused, but I just continued. I'm still horribly sleep-deprived--in the past 24 hours I must have slept around 4 or 5 hours total, broken up into a dozen interludes. But that's actually a lot more than most of the previous nights over the past few months. So I have a pretty good excuse for having brain cells that misfire occasionally...
