When oppressed persons are pushed to pick up guns that is covert statecraft seeking to get them trapped in a place where statecraft can then come in and crush them. This seems to be a general rule, especially amongst those whom organize nationally.

Those whom organize (including with guns) locally, such as what Robert Williams (yes?) helped do in the u.s. South, to REPEL THE kkk from making overt attacks on their homes and families, seem to be less prone to this kind of cowardly attack (at least til covert actors can install informers and/or undercover agents).

For MAPs, i see the push towards obtaining and trying to use guns/bombs, etc. as a NORMAL covert tact to block us from even getting our side of the truth out.

We are far better and more capable to reach people via the grand spirit wayz of the young people we claim to love so much. That is, via the ways of FUN.

Sober knowledge along with this ("growing up"), yes, and yet, not categorically suppressing the YOUTHIC SPLENDOR sides!! In fact, as i see it, LEADING OUR ORGANIZATIONS WITH SUCH SPLENDOR has a poetic OOMPH that violence and killing can never have.

Terrorism is all that guns bring, and statecraft has perfected that; that's why they seek to entrap you all into such!

But when we escape this game with the amazing possibility of our radicalized (root oriented) creative intelligence --well!

But i'm not going to waste my time trying to convince you and your ilk of such things!

(But do not forget, Huey Newton and the other Black Panthers were TOTALLY OUT-FLANKED BY an ILLEGAL f.b.i. program at the time.)

Good sources for assertions made:

AGENTS OF REPRESSION by Ward Churchill (on f.b.i. repression against the Black Panthers and the American Indian Movement)

This Nonviolent Stuff'll Get You Killed: How Guns Made the Civil Rights Movement Possible by Charles E. Cobb, Jr (page 107 for Robert Williams info) (my note: my own nonviolent but confrontational work never needed guns, but i can see their value to help hold a perimeter safely for a group seeking to start up that is also getting bodily harm threats)
