Loyalty is a virtue....

He's entitled to his views....and I'm equally entitled to my disdain and contempt for them.

You are aware that Martin dreamed of a day when character would matter more than skin color. These days the race-baiters and poverty pimps conveniently forget that. I might be very gifted with an abundance of melanin, but I am first and foremost an American....I just happen to be Black. My loyalty goes first to this country....and primarily do.

As an attorney I had to swear an oath to uphold the Constitution Of The United States Of America. I take such oath very seriously.

So why would you be surprised? It's no secret I hold conservative political views. Hell, I've been a registered Republican ever since I was old enough to vote. I voted for President Trump three times and vote for whoever the GOP nominee is - be it Vance, DeSantis, Rubio, or whoever - in 2028.

Here's the thing...I've made something of myself, have a nice house on nearly a half-acre of land in a nice safe neighborhood, a few nice vehicles, a man I love very much, some nice toys, (my Mason & Hamlin BB grand piano), and a nest egg set aside for later. I've benefited from that very system you and your heroes despise so much.

So why would I risk any of that for any quixotic pipe dream that belongs to the 60's?
