...What will the Army do about it? That's the real question. If the US Army goes along with Trump's orders, then the US will become a true dictatorship, and no one will be able to oppose that. Remember, dictatorships are always only established for a limited time, which is defined as "as long as necessary". Though, as the dictator himself decide of it, it generally extends forever... That's likely what this "pause" is about. (Though I'm sure elections will eventually be held... like in any African dictatorship. Elections never meant democracy, they are just tools which can be used for political freedom or tyranny, depending on the conditions).
