She makes a clever simulacrum of the working-class hero, and, when she's not in bitch-mode, comes off as oh-so-reasonable in her desire that we all just be nice to each other and her contention that the rich are too rich. She's a dumb sexy blonde, a well-meaning and well-chosen simpleton, especially manipulable by the forces at work turning the UK into a blend of totalitarianism, mediocrity, and chaos, a path relentlessly pursued.
