.... all of the broadcast networks are under Trumps thumb.

I think we have already seen what happens when they deviate from the official White House doctrine on more then one occasion where Trump has threatened to pull their license if they didn't get in line. (which they all have because it is a business)

That may have been true a year ago when we had some semblance of a free press...it's not any more.
