The Peace Nobel Prize....

... is the saddest joke I've ever heard :( we need a politics of community, of care for all living things, and for each other, and not a politics of domination, resource competition and extermination of those who get in the way of the powerful Yes, and I think the majority of people on Earth agree with that, but our institutions unfortunately push crazy people to be in control. Elections are the enemy of any real democracy (=when people can choose the rules by themselves, instead of choosing a master who will do it 'for' them), as anyone who craves for power is unworthy of it and unlikely to ever represent the people who have voted for them.
