An attempt is being made in my country to redirect the conversation, but it is very difficult given the domination of the media by neoliberals. There are aspects of the human soul that are not rational, and are impervious even to appeals to self-interest. Brexit has been an overwhelming economic catastrophe, but it seems impossible to get at least a third of the country to admit the obvious.
