Socialism necessarily socializes risk.

Thats the thing. It doesnt. it removes reward for risk. It makes it so that risking something is not worth it, or not even possible.

The "rationality" of capitalism will not save us.

Capitalism is not perfect. But, it has lifted more people out of poverty than any other system we have. I guess if thats not your metric of success then you wouldnt care.

Capitalism does appear to tend towards technocracy, which is definitely not a good thing.
