And your conception of who are natives clearly does impinge on the question of whether or not I'm sufficiently racially pure to be English. It's such a pity. I speak perfect RP, I drink tea, and everyone says that they've never met a more English person in their lives. But no, because I cannot establish my racial purity back to some remote ancestor, I'm not English. You know, by the time you've kicked all the impure people out of the country, there might not be that many Englishmen left.
