One of the most tedious things about these forums is that people are constantly caricaturing, and thus distorting, one's remarks, in order to gain rhetorical victories. I am not at all keen on AI - I think it constitutes a grave threat; but I have no idea how to prevent it. I think its development is inevitable. But the enthusiasm of the British state for surveillance, and their ability to spy on their population, will remain whether we trade with China or not. Perhaps I should ask you to consider that everything that makes England what it is now rather than what it was in 46 is the result of America. Feminism, woke politics, free market ideology that destroyed the old communities based on trust - all American imports. Breaking free from America is a sine qua non for any tolerable society and culture. Eurosiberia or bust!
