My comment was intended only as a brief interlude (hence "briefly"). There's more coming which I am in the process of finishing. Physicalism is provably false -- I just don't know whether I'll be able to prove it to you, here... but we shall see. The falsity of physicalism is not an "abstruse philosophical issue." It's a metaphysical error that misguides not just "intellectuals" but everyone in this day and age with a beating heart, and it is certainly of vital importance to the likes of us. But, again, give me a day or two to finish. I apologize for giving the impression of anything resembling a proper reply. |
