Well, I don't think Iran wants a war with Israel, though they might be pushed into it. Israel's recent political murders are clearly an attempt to scupper negotiations with Hamas, in order to enable the continuation of the Gaza killings. However, it is quite possible that the Israelis have also decided, particularly in the wake of the Yanks having displayed their fanatical and blind devotion to Israel's ultra-nationalist government, that now is the time to drag the US into a US/Israel war against Iran. The consequences of such a war would be utterly devastating for the region and the whole world; but there would be no shortage of cheerleaders for such mass killing here, in our (ahem) "community", which is why our "community" will fail, and deserves to - because we are not an independent moral force, but can always be counted on to be shills for an Establishment that wants us dead.
