I said in my post that it wasn't apparent to me that it was a reference to the da Vinci painting from the parts that I saw. "The performance was, in reality, a reference to Greek mythology, where a queen whose outfit drew inspiration from depictions of Apollo was confused with Jesus, and no one was sitting around a table like in da Vinci’s painting." I assume that the more festive looking guy with the fruit was a representation of Bacchus. In that context, the performance makes more sense.... but it's still weird-ass performance art.
