So far the cost to Russia has been about 500,000++ dead Russians and just a shit-ton of tanks and weaponry. Whatever amount the U.S. and NATO has supplied... meh. Is Putin's land grab worth it? It must be considered that Ukraine is right next door to Russia and Putin still hasn't won since the war began in February, 2014. And of course Putin knows how to wait it out which is how they defeated the Germans in WW II, lesson's learned. So time is on Vlad's side as long as he can hold on to power. And of course until the current excitement has settled in the U.S. Western countries need to raise wayyyy up their military budgets to fight Russia. The U.S. may not be of help in the future if Trump is in bed with Putin. Putin will probably get Ukraine before long and the big question on whether the world survives will be determined by whether or not Putin keeps going after Ukraine. (with Trump as an ally) NATO is not an illusion and it is not a delusion. If your country is a member and you are invaded by someone you hate, you may be glad you guys are signed up for protection. Recommend watching The Godfather - Trilogy (jk) And hey, if in fact your country is a NATO member, take heart, Trump wants out of NATO and wants to run with the BIG DICK-tator DOGS so good-bye NATO, hello world domination.
