You are still referring to Gaza as occupied by Israel. That is not the case. Hamas had full control over Gaza and there was no Israeli police patrolling Gaza, no puppet government in place. Nobody in Gaza reported to Israel. Gaza is under siege/blockage by both Israel and Egypt. That siege still allowed international aid organization to enter Gaza and run schools and hospitals. Also, somehow Iranian made rockets were transported into Gaza and subsequently fired into Israel. Israel deployed an iron dome due to that. After the war between Hamas and Israel started, several European countries have made effort to retrieve "their citizens" from Gaza. Palestinians who under the collective protective scheme got citizenship and got welfare and took that with them to spent in Gaza. Which defeats the notion of Gaza being an "open air prison". Nobody spends holidays in prison. Nobody moves back into prison. Your idea of innocent Palestinians in an occupied Gaza needs a review. |
