Google Earth trouble-zone updates

I wonder how often the Google Earth photography updates during times of great political crisis? Gaza, right now, looks to be very up-to-date. From up high encompassing the whole of Gaza I can already see without zooming in that there are a number of patches where everything is grey.. ie buildings destroyed and turned into concrete rubble.
