There's an adult version of that experiment

Someone did the same thing on the street giving adult passers-by the option of a gold dime or a snickers bar, though I'm sure some of them chose the way they did because they distrusted the choice itself. These kinds of experiments are amusing, but perhaps not as telling as they might appear.
