Whatever they are, sometimes they seem to have a sense of humour. Very commonly, at least for the very credible cases, they seem to never show enough of any aggressive behaviour to warrant an aggressive response, but equally commonly they will demonstrate complete utter technical superiority over any human tech thrown at them.
