You've created a villain that doesn't exist.

You say that hes honest. But you are not being honest here. There is some, not small, proportion of the left that DOES want its political enemies dead, and is perfectly happy to take action, as shown by the guy who walked up to someone wearing a trump hat and shot them. What do you think happened to political enemies when the communists took over various countries in the last century?

You can claim that they arent the "real" left, or something, but then everyone else gets to claim that the violence on their side isnt the "real" {whatever side they are on} and so what are you left with?
