Losing their generals quite quickly too

Article I briefed through a few days ago indicated the Russians had lost a small bunch of generals so far (7,8, 9?).. no cause of deaths given but I'd wager they were each sitting inside tanks that got hit with the new anti-tank stuff being used lately. Also, if the Ukrainian stats on Russian soldier deaths are to be believed, it seems like about as many have died in the last few weeks as did during the entire occupation of Afghanistan (about 15,000 soldiers in about 10 years).. and if fuzzy memory serves correctly, they left that country ignominiously and it was yet another major cause of ill-feeling from Russians about their own military adventures and eventually a part-cause of the dissolution of the USSR.
