You said: Well, the basic divide is one of wealth ownership, so, yes, I do conceive this as (broadly) the haves versus the have-nots. -- I think the basic divide is between one CONCEPTION of wealth having forever hegemony OVER other conceptions!! Such as that material "wealth" is more meaningful than psychological health!! (and i mean the informal kind, not the neocolonially-supervised kind now being planted in our collective heads!) i see it as a "have" and "have not" situation as well. Where those who perceive themselves as "Having More" work overtime to block and deceive and trick those they perceive as "Having Less". ONLY WHEN the "lesser" subordinates to the alleged "higher", will the "higher" even "entertain" their form of poetry!! (in truth, each of our theories, et al, are POETRIES!) Granted EACH SIDE of this scenario HAS VALUE, but one is blocking the other from equality (or at least fairness and justice). Interesting read, btw! What i don't like about Left/Right-isms is that i think they are ultimately a trick. A distraction. Because like with science (and religion) there's no real protection from statecraft (and minions') deceit (which has a long history when you read from the vantage point of the oppressed). So we all get STUCK in VENTING OUR PAIN AT each other NEVER RECOGNIZING how we're BOTH/ALL propagandized with "grains of truth"!! And yes, ULTIMATELY AGAINST OUR OWN INTERESTS!! NOT JUST US, BUT ALL PEOPLE!!
